ABOUT TREATMENT
The Venus Viva is the latest technology for treatments that is a non-surgical solution for skin rejuvenation.
Utilising SmartScan Technology:
Radio Frequency (RF) energy is delivered uniformly, which ensures consistent dermal heating and enhances patient comfort. The high temperatures cause collagen remodelling and triggers collagen stimulation. The Venus viva device combined with good at-home skin care, is the perfect treatment for uneven skin texture, mild wrinkles, enlarged pores, stretch marks and reduction in pigmentation. Results are permanent for scarring.
The Venus Viva works with tiny pins that deliver heat (via NanoFractional Radio Frequency) through the epidermis. This process activates the skins natural collagen and elastin fibres resulting in smoother, firmer skin that is noticeably more youthful.
DiamondPolar Applicator Technology:
For the treatment of moderate to severe wrinkles. Homogeneous heating to multiple tissue depths within the skin, allows for faster build-up of heat.
The RF directly stimulates fibroblasts which then stimulate collagen production deeper within the dermis. Fibroblast proliferation through the release of growth factors, is proven to be effective in remodeling of collagen, leading to firmer skin.
This is a wonderful treatment for around eyes, along the jawline, and to firm and tighten skin around the neck and lower face area.
What to expect
An initial consultation, Our registered Nurse will assess your needs and discuss your goals and any concerns you may have. If you have any allergies or are on any medications, it is important for you to advise us during the consultation.
It is not recommended for clients who:
- Are pregnant or lactating.
- Have active herpes, acne lesions, open cuts, wounds or sunburnt skin. However, once resolved the treatment can proceed after 2 weeks.
- Suffer from medical conditions such as diabetes and blood clotting disorders.
You will be lying down flat on our treatment bed. The area being treated will be sterilised before treatment begins. During the treatment you will feel tiny pins on your skin followed by a little zap. The pain is very minimal. The area will feel warm after treatment.
Post Treatment Care
The area treated will be warm and feel a little like sunburn. It is important for the initial 24 hours not to put anything on your skin, not even water. The warmth should subside after 24 hours. We recommend fanning the area with cool air if needed.
Do not cleanse, moisturise, or wash your face for 48hrs. (Use water mist only – this will be given to you as a take home treatment).
It is important not to –
- Exercise in the first 24 hours
- No sun exposure until the redness has gone
- Avoid hot baths and showers for 24 hours
- No makeup for 24 hours
- No creams for 24 hours
- Avoid scratching the area for 24 hours
To avoid skin contamination, avoid any products that are not from a tube or pump dispenser. Jars that have been directly dipped into with fingers, can contain bacteria.
Venus viva treatments are safe and effective, however unlike a CO2 laser resurfacing treatment, generally 2-4 treatments 4 -6 weeks apart are required for similar results.
The Venus Viva treatment results are long term and only affected by the natural aging process. We recommend a treatment plan of 3 times a year to ensure you have beautiful youthful and rejuvenated skin.
